I got this traceback when executing mutliple comictagger processes in the same directory but a different selection of files for each. Admittedly, I was hitting the program hard, starting a new instance for each letter of the alphabet. ( -s -t CR -f -o -v A*, ...B*, etc.).

I suspect comictagger could benefit from multithreading since it appears to be network-bound (just like downloading a multipart rar is faster than the equivalent nonparted rar), which is the behavior I was approximating with multiple instances.
